Downtown for the Holidays

December 14, 2022 to December 23, 2022

Experience the sights and sounds of the season when visiting Downtown for the Holidays. Throughout the entire month of December, downtown Orlando is offering free holiday events for all to enjoy!

See the beautifully illuminated Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree and watch in wonder as the lights dance to popular holiday music. Experience snowfall and shop local at our holiday market. Grab a blanket and enjoy a free holiday movie on the East Lawn at Lake Eola. And be sure to stop by the Eola House to see Santa!

Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild

November 18, 2022 – January 15, 2023

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will transform at night into the Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild!

Experience the Zoo like you’ve never seen it before! See over 30 different, hand-constructed illuminated lantern displays around the Zoo on a 3/4 mile path. Celebrate the art, beauty and wonder of traditional Asian lantern festivals. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

ICE! at Gaylord Palms

November 18, 2022 – January 1, 2023

Celebrate the Christmas season at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center near Orlando. ICE! returns to Kissimmee for a one-of-a-kind Christmas event. Step into a winter wonderland carved by expert artisans out of two million pounds of colorful ice. See the story of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!™ from our larger-than-life sculptures. Fun activities and things to do with the family include slides made entirely of ice.

Dinos In Lights Festive Holiday Show

November 5, 2022 – January 3, 2023

Add some sparkle to the holiday season and see some of your favorite creatures from the Cretaceous in a whole new light with the Dinos In Lights show at Orlando Science Center!

Beginning November 5, join Stan the T-Rex and his fossil friends in DinoDigs as they show off their twinkling talent in a festive display of music and light. Each family-friendly show will run for four minutes.

This dazzling light show is included in general admission for a limited time so don’t miss out! Be sure to see it multiple times on your visit as the experience is different from every angle.

Shows begin every 30 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.

Night of a Million Lights

November 12, 2022 - January 1, 2023

Excitement is in the air again as Night of a Million Lights returns in a spectacular new venue – Island H2O Water Park!

Immerse yourself in a dazzling winter wonderland illuminated with millions of lights and filled with festive family activities and live entertainment for a one-of-a-kind, fully interactive holiday experience.
