Taylor said the vampire-themed ceremony featured “anatomically correct” cakes shaped like human hearts, according to the BBC.
“N.B. yes, those are anatomically correct heart cakes,” she added, referring to a plate holding cakes shaped like real hearts in pools of apparently fake blood.
In the post, Taylor-Joy referred to herself as “the vampire Lestat” -- a reference to the character from Anne Rice’s 1976 novel, Interview with the Vampire, which is also set in New Orleans, the Times reported.
On Tuesday, McRae, 29, marked the anniversary with an Instagram post that featured Taylor sitting in front of a cathedral organ, according to the newspaper.
“I love you now and somehow I always have and somehow it will never end. Happy two-year anniversary (yesterday), beautiful,” the “Daisy Jones & the Six” actor wrote.
